New elementary faculty is known as after the Twitter star of Justice
Judge Don Willett has been a prolific Twitter user on Above the Law for years under the name @JusticeWillett. Unfortunately, after he left the Texas Supreme Court to scout the area around the Fifth Circuit, he slowed down his tweeting and legal Twitter is all the poorer for that.
But there is some good news for the judge: The Forney, Texas school district where Willett graduated from high school in 1984 is building a new elementary school and naming it after the lawyer.
This is an intensive elementary school! My elementary school consisted of a single row of classrooms connected by a covered outdoor walkway. This thing looks like a palace. Especially this random hallway where I’m pretty sure Junior Will Hunting just cracked Cayley’s formula here.
Congratulations to Judge Willett on this honor. Maybe he can retweet this story if we’re all lucky.
