Liz Cheney terrifies Trump with felony investigation into his function in attacking the Capitol
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said that Trump cannot be the leader of the Republican Party and that many criminal investigations are getting into his role in the Capitol attack.
Video from Rep. Cheney:
Cheney said on Fox News on Sunday:
Of course, if I were in the Senate, I would listen to the evidence. I think that’s the role the Senate plays as jurors.
But I also want to point out, Chris, that the Senate process is a snapshot. Massive criminal investigations are ongoing. There will be a massive criminal investigation into everything that happened on January 6th and in the days before. People will want to know exactly what the president is doing
For example, they want to know whether the tweet he sent when he called Vice President Pence a coward during the attack, whether that tweet was, for example, a deliberate effort to provoke violence. There are many questions that need to be answered and there will be many, many criminal
Investigations Look at every aspect of it and everyone involved as it should be.
But I stand by my statement. We have never seen an attack like this by a President of the United States on any other branch of government, and it can never happen again.
MP Cheney criticized the Democrats for voting to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from the committees, but only because she believed the Republicans should have done it themselves.
Cheney wants to get rid of Trump and Trumpism and bring the Republican Party back to its conservative roots.
It has been reported for years that Trump was afraid of being charged with anything, and since Lindsey Graham argues that Trump could be charged with a crime for being a private individual, the idea is that the former president could be prosecuted ‘Not’ It is a critics’ fantasy, but a reality openly debated amid a raging Republican civil war.
