In COVID-ravaged Missouri, individuals are being vaccinated in camouflage so their family and friends will not discover out

After months of hesitation, Republican lawmakers and conservative media outlets are urging people to get the vaccine. There is a clear and obvious reason. The disease now disproportionately affects people in mostly republican states.

But often, when vaccination campaigns are done, they are done half-heartedly. And thanks to Donald Trump’s years of mockery of security, many conservatives have been left with the idea that vaccines are a little embarrassing.

Missouri was completely devastated by the Delta variant. And, unsurprisingly, the southern state also has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country.

In fact, the problem has gotten so bad that some Trump supporters are now ready to get their chance. A Missouri doctor reports that some of these people show up in disguise so that no one can see them.

Dr. Priscilla Frase of Ozarks Healthcare told ABC News, “I’ve had several people who got vaccinated, tried to hide their looks, and even went so far as to say, ‘Please, please, please don’t let everyone know for getting this vaccine. I don’t want my friends to know about it. ‘”

The doctor also mentioned that the hospital system created private spaces so that misplaced MAGA trailers don’t have to be seen.
