While there are plenty of new features and upgrades to sort out, these five caught our attention.

Redesigned AutoDrive transmission

The first version of AutoDrive was good, but the people at Polaris went back to the drawing board to do better. The complete readjustment of the transmission aims to noticeably improve shifting at both low and high speeds. In addition, Polaris claims that the new 2021 transmission calibration enables smoother, faster, and smoother shifts, so drivers can feel more confident and connected to the drivetrain.

In addition to the transmission improvements, the rider will have more fun and control with the addition of brand new paddle shifters. The paddles mounted on the steering wheel are made of high quality composite material to provide excellent feedback while driving. They are available as standard for 2021 R models with AutoDrive and as an upgrade for all 2020 and 2021 models with AutoDrive.

Completely new color accents

The slingshot is supposed to attract attention, so it is only right that it now offers seven new color accents. The additional colors give Slingshot owners even more options to add a touch of color to their exterior. The new colors accentuate the front grille, front upper and lower fenders, roll bar, seat belt guards, outer muscle strips, rear fender and rear fender sticker.

Customizable interior lighting

While the exterior gets a lot of attention, the interior of the Slingshot gets a chic new upgrade with a brand new customizable premium indoor lighting kit. As part of a partnership with XKGlow, owners can equip the interior of their slingshot at six locations with six LED lights and an LED light box.
